A workflow is a
depiction of a sequence of operations, declared
as work of a person, work of a simple or complex
mechanism, work of a group of persons,work of an organization of staff, or
machines. A workflow can also be defined as a
pattern of activities enabled by a systematic
organization.
What kind of
workflows does On Demand CM Platform supports? From simple document based workflow routing
to complete document delivery, On Demand
workflow engine handles complete execution and
management of business processes.
On Demand CM routing, delivery, approval &
eSignature workflow engine can handle large
volume of documents through a queue based
routing system and allows to send documents to
single or multiple parties at the same time.
Users can view the overall status of a workflow
instance at any given point of time and see the
true status of the document along with different
reviewed, approved or Signed versions. Users
also have the capability of stopping the
workflow, sending reminders manually as a part
of the workflow.
How do I
create a workflow? 1) Click on "Create New Workflow"
2) Drag and drop a Signer Icon on to blue
rectangular area. The workflow needs to start
with a manual person "You"
3) Drag & drop other activities and connect them
by arrows.
4) Fill in various details for various
activities as you drag and drop them.
5) Click on Save button to save the workflow and
give it any name.

What do various activities in workflow mean? Signer - represents manual person who will
be signing the document or will fill in the form
in case of forms
Approver - represents manual person who will be
simply approving the document or form.
SMS - represents sending a notification to phone
Post - represents sending the document by postal
mail
Fax - represents sending a document by Fax
How do I route a document through a workflow? Once you create any workflow, you save it by
any name and it appears in your "My Workflows"
folder. To send a document via a workflow,
simply go to "My Workflows", click on workflow
and then click on "Send Document"
